Preparation Note: Always start with a completely clean and sanitized work area. Wash your hands and thoroughly cleanse your face before beginning.
Step 1: Prep the Device
- Ensure the pen is charged (via wireless mode) or connected to the power cable.
- Open a brand new, sterile needle cartridge and twist it clockwise into the pen until it locks securely into place.
Step 2: Apply Your Serum
- Apply a generous amount of your favorite hydrating serum (such as Hyaluronic Acid) to the target area of your face. This provides a smooth glide for the device. Do not use the pen on dry skin.
Step 3: Adjust the Settings
- Press and hold the power button to turn on the device.
- Tap the button to cycle through the 6 speed levels to find your comfortable setting.
- Rotate the dial to set the desired needle depth (lower settings are recommended for delicate areas like around the eyes and forehead).
Step 4: Techniques & Motion
- Hold the skin taut with your free hand.
- Gently glide the pen across your skin in a cross-hatch pattern: move vertically, horizontally, and then diagonally across each section.
- Keep the motion fluid and continuous. Avoid pressing down too hard or hovering over a single spot for too long.
Step 5: Post-Routine Care
- Turn off the pen by holding down the power button. Remove and safely discard the single-use needle cartridge immediately.
- Apply another layer of soothing serum or a deeply hydrating sheet mask to calm and moisturize the skin.
- Avoid direct sun exposure and skip makeup or harsh active ingredients (like Retinol or Vitamin C) for 24 to 48 hours. Always wear sunscreen the following day!
